The Info-Excavation event witnessed an outstanding participation from the Promark-Telecon team. This included the presence of Simon Ouellette, Director of Operations, Alexandre Gauthier, Localization Supervisor, Shaun Whitteron, Senior Locator, and Carlo Fiola, Senior Locator with over 25 years of experience.
Workshops on Locate: A Subject that Sparks Curiosity
Carlo Fiola shone brightly by conducting two workshops dedicated to the crucial stages of localization. These workshops were a mere success, drawing a large and enthusiastic audience. Simon Ouellette didn’t miss highlighting the originality and liveliness of Carlo’s presentation, noting that it was a first in Promark-Telecon’s history to feature a locator as the main speaker at this event.

Beyond Carlo’s presentation, the event provided rich learning experiences for the entire Promark-Telecon team. Carlo himself expressed surprise and interest in other presentations: “The interventions by the Laval firefighters on gas leak responses were particularly enlightening,” he emphasized. Furthermore, he was pleasantly surprised by the insights shared about the REM: “The details provided on the REM project truly exceeded my expectations, allowing me to fully grasp the scale and scope of this major initiative,” he shared.
