We are pleased to announce that Tommy Huynh has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Design and Locates, reporting directly to me. Over the last year, our North American Design team has successfully met challenging customer deliverables, expanded into new markets and customers, and deployed next-generation automation and optimization initiatives. Led by Tommy, these achievements have positioned Telecon as a forward-thinking leader in the design of telecommunications networks, leveraging technology and partnerships to offer customers best-in-class design services. In his new role, Tommy will continue to leverage his experience to optimize our efficiency and the Design Leadership Team (Kathy Zemsta, Jeff Houston and Tony Rizzo) will continue to report to him. Tommy will also provide executive leadership to the Locates national team with Moranne McDonnell, Vice-President, Locates, now reporting to him as well.
Tommy is a seasoned leader, with 25 years of management and leadership experience in the telecommunications industry. After working at Zayo Group, Allstream and MTS-Allstream, he joined the Telecon Design team in 2017. He has been a key member of the Telecon Design Leadership team ever since, initially in our Eastern region, then on a national basis and most recently as Senior Vice-President, Design, North America. We are confident his unique and extensive experience, strategic approach and strong leadership capabilities will be instrumental to the executive team and allow Telecon to continue its trajectory of growth.
